Pastor Barrett was born in Georgia and at age twelve moved with his parents to North Carolina. It was in North Carolina where he was first exposed to the message of salvation. In 1949 the Lord dealt with his heart about becoming a Christian and on July 16, 1949, he accepted the Lord as Savior and Master of his life. In 1950 he became involved in youth work and preaching. Knowing that God had called him to preach, he began to pursue Bible study and prayer with diligence. In 1952 he enrolled in a Bible College and studied there while working in local churches and preaching in several states. He continued to study and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and later a Masters of Education degree. His ministry has taken him to several states where he has seen many people become Christians. He has taught in seminars and has worked extensively in evangelism.

Currently, Pastor Barrett is pastor of Christian Chapel in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Christian Chapel is a church alive with many great things going on.

Healing by God's power is a special ministry in which Pastor Barrett is involved on a regular basis. Christian Chapel is committed to "Contending for the faith which was once delivered to the saints." Prayer is offered in every service for those who come seeking help from the Lord.

Faith in God's ability to help us is a regular spiritual thrust in Pastor Barrett's life and he has committed his life to working with God's calling which he experienced while a teenager in North Carolina.

Larry Miller is an ordained minister. He grew up in Warner, Oklahoma area and has been a pastor for several years. He began his ministry by serving as a youth pastor and has served as a children's director. One of his special abilities is visitation, especially the ill.

Larry was graduated from Central Bible College, Springfield, Missouri, in 1989 with a degree in Bible. He has been on staff at Christian Chapel for over six years.

He is married to Diane Jones Miller and the couple have four children, three sons and one daughter. They make their home on a ranch south of Muskogee. They have three grandchildren

Jerry W. Swepston, an ordained minister, grew up in Northeastern Oklahoma. He was graduated from High School, Muskogee, Oklahoma, in 1968 and retired from the United States Marine Corps in 1996 as a Major. Jerry earned a BS degree in Speech Pathology at Northeastern Oklahoma State University. His degree was granted in 1977.

It was during his tenure with the U. S. Marine Corps that Jerry began to develop his ministry of music. As he was transferred to several military bases including some time at the Pentagon, he visited and worked in various churches throughout the United States and Japan. Music seemed to be the area of ministry where he was most needed.

Both Jerry and his wife, La Donna, are talented in music. In addition to singing, La Donna plays the bass guitar extremely well. She is an excellent soloist and is very supportive of the ministry.

The lord has blessed the Swepstons with two beautiful daughters and three grandchildren. They, too, share in the vision of ministry.

Vision of a singing church at Christian Chapel and for Muskogee, Oklahoma is a priority of the Swepstons. Let everybody sing is Jerry's philosophy. He believes that singing is the one great thing in which church people can participate and be blessed.

Jason and Donna Cochran are from the great state of Texas.  Jason has been on staff here at Christian Chapel since April 2009.  Jason and Donna serve as youth pastors of a great youth group.  The youth ministry has seen great growth under their leadership.  With this growth the church has seen the need and built a new youth center the sunmmer of 2010.  The youth ministry is reaching several youth in Muskogee and surrounding communities with the life changing message that Jesus loves them.  With Jasons' radical methods, the youth of Muskogee never know what to expect!  Releveant preaching, Dynamic Worship, ConeXtion Groups, Drama Ministry, and many activities, there is never a dull moment at Xtreme Uth ministry.

Jason is an ordained minister.  A graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God Univesity with a double B.A. in Church ministries---Pastoral/Youth Ministry.  M.A. work at Trinity Theological Seminary. 

Donna is a educator with a B.A. in Elementary Education.

Jason and Donna have 3 children (Devin, Brandon, Austin) they enjoy sports, taking trips, shopping, christian concerts, swimming, singing music, playing music, and just hanging out at home.
